Emotions and Metaphysical Kinesiology (EMK) is a holistic approach that delves into the intricate relationship between your emotions, beliefs, and physical health. By employing gentle muscle testing techniques, I access the subconscious to identify and address emotional and energetic imbalances that may be affecting your well-being. This process facilitates the release of negative patterns and hidden emotional blocks, trauma, and stressors that may be hindering well-being. and supports your journey toward optimal health.

EMK is deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies, emphasising the body’s energy systems— including meridians, chakras, and auras—to restore balance and harmony. EMK assists in clearing stress, fear, trauma, and pain from the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies, empowering you to reconnect with your true essence.

As an EMK practitioner, I bring a unique approach to healing that is deeply informed by both my professional qualifications and my personal lived experience of trauma. My journey has taught me the profound impact that unresolved emotional and physical imbalances can have on overall well-being. With a background in the community sector, I have worked extensively in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), mental health, and youth custody/parole, where I have gained invaluable insights into the complexities of human behaviour and the healing process.

In my practice, I integrate kinesiology techniques with emotional and metaphysical tools to help clients identify and release hidden emotional blocks, trauma, and stressors that may be hindering their well-being. I believe that the body holds the wisdom needed to heal, and through gentle, non-invasive methods, I facilitate a process of emotional and physical restoration.

I bring a deep sense of lived experience, empathy and understanding to my work, ensuring that each client feels safe and supported on their healing journey. My approach is individualised, recognising the unique needs of each person, whether they are seeking to address emotional distress, past trauma, or a desire for greater personal growth and clarity. Japanese Remedial Yoga

Japanese Remedial Yoga Therapy is a holistic therapeutic practice that blends traditional yoga postures

with the ancient health philosophies of Traditional Chinese and Japanese Medicine.

Japanese Remedial Yoga Therapy combines yoga with the principles of energy flow, as understood in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Japanese healing practices. Central to this therapy is the concept of chi (also known as ki in Japanese), which is the life force energy that flows through our bodies along energy pathways known as meridians. Each meridian is connected to a specific organ or energy type, and these energy pathways are fundamental to the balance of the body, mind, and spirit. This approach supports individuals in achieving a deeper sense of balance, healing, and overall wellness.

When the flow of chi is disrupted—whether blocked, stagnant, or excessive—it can negatively affect the health and function of the body. Japanese Remedial Yoga Therapy aims to open and restore the flow of chi through targeted stretches, postures, and movements that align with the body’s meridian system. By doing so, the practice helps individuals achieve physical balance, emotional stability, and mental clarity.

This practice is performed on a mat and treats the whole person. It is a self-help and remedial system of healing that works by stretching and opening the meridians, improving overall body function, and fostering a sense of control and well-being.

How:

Initial Assessment and Personalised Plan: An assessment of the individual’s body, posture, flexibility, and any areas of physical or emotional concern. Based on this, a personalized yoga therapy plan is created, focusing on specific needs such as improving flexibility, alleviating pain, or releasing emotional tension.

Therapeutic Yoga Practice and Techniques: The therapy integrates traditional yoga postures with techniques from Japanese and Chinese medicine, including gentle stretches, breathing exercises, and mindfulness practices designed to unblock energy channels and restore balance.

The sessions are slow, deliberate, and adaptable, designed to align with the participant’s body and energy flow.

Restoring Energy Balance and Functionality: The practice works to enhance the functionality of the left and right sides of the body, strengthen both the front and back, and improve the flexibility and twisting ability of the body.
