Angelique Fisher

Hello to all our friends in the community!

I bring a diverse and rich professional background to Revolution Counselling & Wellbeing, blending extensive experience in both the corporate and community sectors. I began my career in the corporate world, where I held key roles including as an Executive Assistant in the health, building, and manufacturing industries, where I honed organizational and leadership skills.

A pivotal career shift led me to the community sector, where I spent twenty years supporting at-risk youth aged 12-25 in areas such as criminal justice, mental health, and treating young people and adults with substance abuse. As the unit coordinator at the Melbourne Youth Justice Centre, I was responsible for overseeing case management and ensuring a safe, effective environment for young men on remand and serving sentences. I was also involved in establishing a community-based Youth Residential Rehabilitation (YRR) service following the 2014 recommissioning of Victoria’s Mental Health sector, including introducing capital works improvements.

In 2019, I embarked on a journey into body-based therapeutic practices, gaining qualifications and expertise in Pilates, Remedial Yoga Therapy, Emotions & Metaphysical Kinesiology and integrative somatic trauma work. My qualifications in trauma-informed bodywork complement a holistic approach to your health and wellbeing, allowing me to offer a deeply compassionate and integrative approach, tailored to every client’s individual needs.
In addition to my background in health and social services, I have also developed and delivered curriculum for a number of tertiary institutions, further enriching my professional contribution to the education and community sectors.
My unique combination of community welfare experience and training in holistic therapies enables me to offer a profoundly empathetic and trauma-informed perspective in my work. I am dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for personal transformation and healing, supporting each of my clients on their journey to well-being.
